Sync Applications Question [Newbie]

I'm about to sync my iPhone with iTunes for the first time, for some time i've been downloading applications from iphone only, therefore my applications on iTunes is empty, if i sync them now, will all my apps in iPhone gone? Thx before for your response

I’m quite sure that you won’t lose anything. iTunes copies the applications over from the iPhone. If something does go wrong, though, you should be able to re-download applications that you have already purchased.
