Hi everyone,

I'm new to macs and i recently tried to replace a file (overwrite it) and i got an error saying that the file can not be replaced as it is invisible. I tried a few app to show the hidden files and although i definitely saw more files in the finder the file i was trying to replaced was still hidden and irreplaceablee.

Can you tell me how to show all invisible files or a method or software to force a replacement?

Thank you

Your Mac's Specs
Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
I don't remember if this was possible in 10.5, but in 10.6.....
In finder window click the "+" in the location bar, then choose "other" from the far-left menu, and then select the “File invisible” checkbox.
In the related menu, choose Invisible Items.
