themes for mac 10.6.1

i have tried to install shapeshifter on my macbook and everytime i tried it throws me an error "unsanity installer quit unexpectly" now i did try to search if snow leopard was compatible with shapshifter 2.5, only could find that it is compatible with leopard, not snow ...... so is that my problem.

If that is the problem, do any of you mac gurus know if there is a way to modify the current theme on OS 10.6.1? thanks in advanced

That's because Shapeshifter stopped working when Leopard was released. It is Tiger only. Go over here for all your mac theming info.

Also, with Leopard it could be done with Magnifique, and it seems to still be working. Use at your own risk though.

Also, Crystal Clear Interface is an option.
