ipod to mac

Hi folks

Excuse me if this has been covered elsewhere but only just joined the throng!
My trusty old G4 has just turned up it's toes. New Imac coming tomorrow. How do I copy the contents of my ipod back onto the new computer? Hard drive on the G4 has given up so cannot start up the machine and copy anything from it.

Hi, welcome to the forums.

You are most likely going to need a third party utility. There are quite a few out there. Google for something like 'copy ipod to mac' or 'copy ipod to computer'.
