Firefox has had a native Mac version out for a while now (since 3.0). Is there still any reason to use Camino (besides familiarity/nostalgia), or is it now more or less obsolete/unnecessary?

Hmm. Camino is still relevant I think. I preferred it to Firefox anyway.

What do you mean by "native"? As far as I know, it's been "native" since it's inception.

If you mean integration, Firefox has a long way to go. Don't get me wrong - they've done some great work integrating Firefox with each of the respective platforms. That said, until Firefox switches to Cocoa (which they won't because of cross-platform compatibilities), it will never integrate as well as Camino. Ever. For instance, right-click the toolbar in Firefox and try to customize your toolbar. Compare that with something like Safari. Notice the differences?

Since Camino uses Cocoa as the toolkit for developing the interface, it will always have the integration advantage. If they want to stay relevant in terms of usefulness though, they really need to push a stable release of version 2 out the door.
