Wont shut off

I spilled liquid on my macbook, so i took it apart, cleaned it a bit, got-er going again, but now when i click shut down it shuts down but then it starts right back up. Any ideas why, im guessing something was damged during the spilage but what could it be? It all seems to be working fine except for that.
