If the crack is in a corner, just ignore it. If it continues to grow, go to an apple store and talk to someone. On the other hand, if your warranty is still in place, you might as well isin't just go to the store. Is the crack leaking anything or warping the screen? If it, you may have only cracked the protective layer of the screen, and a simple switch at the apple store will suffice.

The only way to repair a cracked LCD display is to replace it. I doubt that Apple will replace it under the warranty or Apple care especially if you caused the crack. Even if you don't how it occurred, it's not going to be covered under the warranty by Apple.

As for which repair facilities can replace the display, take a look here. Or, if you would like to replace the display yourself: Go here.

Regards.

It appears that an object was caught between the keyboard and the display when the lid was closed, or, something pressed down hard on the lid when it was closed causing the display to make contact with the keyboard.

As I said above, the only repair is to replace the display.

Regards.
