So I've had my MacBook Pro since September 2007, just before the 10.5 Leopard launch.
In the last few months, under both Leopard and Snow Leopard, my MagSafe light tends to turn off after some time. Basically what happens is I'll plug in my Mac, the light comes on (orange when charging, green when charged) as it should. But after some time the light just turns off. Charging/power continues as normal, but there is no light indicator on the MagSafe adaptor. Unplugging the laptop and replugging the MagSafe back in turns the light on again, but after a while it will shut off again. The light turns off anywhere between 5-30 minutes after being plugged in.
Its important to note that I DO NOT have any battery or power issues with my laptop. My laptop charges, and discharges normally, it runs on just AC power, and it runs on just battery power just fine. There is nothing abnormal about charge times or anything like that.
Any suggestions or thoughts on why it could be doing this?
Thanks in Advance.
