I replaced my non working keyboard with an Apple brand british keyboard.

It appears that some of the keys are not mapped according to the keys.

I have gone to International and changed keyboard layout to British

I restarted Apple Setup

CapsLock displays a bracket and the fuctions keys are all out of wacked

How do I fix this

Try this in addition to what you have already done:

System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Input Sources. Place a check in the box for "British". Same dialog, click on "Language", drag "English" to the top of the list. Note, not U.S. English.

If the above doesn't work, you may have to go back to the Apple setup and choose British English as your language of choice instead of US English.

Regards.
