I have a Macbook and am more often than not running XP-SP2. The two USB ports are inadequate and having problems finding a USB hub that works. Its not like I can go and keep buying them until i find one that does.
I have three USB hubs here that do work on my PC laptops without any problems, none work on either of the two ports on the Macbook. All are self-powered through the USB port itself and the powered light does go on. Its just the attached device is not recognized once it is plugged into the hub. As far as I know, I have the latest bootcamp, as I reinstalled XP a month ago and downloaded it then.
Is there a software patch that might help or something else?
