Every time I try to load my Apple Software update, the progress bar reaches about 3/4 of the way and the program has to be force quitted. This hasn't happened once or twice, but happens every time I try to update.
Is there some kind of fix I can do to make it work?
Thanks in advance.

If your computer is within spec per pigoo3 comments then try downloading the Combo updater from here and running that. It is a big file so u need a reasonable connection.

I have had it pause at the 3/4 way a few times but if I waited a minute or two it always continued. Only times is where there were a lot of updates.
