Snow Leopard Problem

I tried to install snow leopard today and it said install failed and my mac keeps shutting down during apple icon. I can't find my start up disk cause my computer is 2 years old. Im really upset right now.

Your Mac's Specs
2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
Some specs on your computer would help. Which Mac do you have? Also, how are you trying to install Snow Leopard? Are you installing it clean (boot from the SL DVD) or are you trying to upgrade your current operating system?
