I am a relatively new Mac user and I previously had a different background on my desktop. Since I've switched to Snow Leopard, the one I had and really liked is no longer available.

It was a blue desktop background, if that helps matters. Is there any place or any way I can get that old desktop back?

I also back up my machine with Time Machine. Would that file or photo be on my external hard drive?

If you want, just send me a PM.

Thanks so much!

Can someone please answer my question?
Is it possible I can go back to my Time Machine on the External Hard Drive and "grab" that old background?

There is no reason you can't as long as you remember where it is.

Look in Desktop under System Preferences. I'm pretty sure that background is there.
