Found out mine was missing today. If this happens to you after the SL upgrade - you'll need to do an SMC reset on your machine.
As always - read through and understand the direction prior to starting
Machines with removable batteries:
1. Turn off your computer
2. Remove the power adapter and all peripherals.
3. Take out the battery
4. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds
5. Put the battery back in and connect the power
6. Turn machine back on
Machines with non-removable batteries
1. Turn off your computer - do not do a SMC reset while your machine is turned on - you could experience file structure damage
2. Connect the power adapter
3. On the built in keyboard - on the Left hand side of the Keyboard - Press Shift-Control-Option along with the power button "once".
4. Wait for 5 seconds afterward - then press the power button to turn the machine on
