Which port is faster on my MacBook Pro?

I would like to transfer my compact flash cards as fast as possible. Which way would be the fastest on my Macbook Pro 17?

Firewire 800 compact flash reader or Express card slot compact flash reader?

Then I think the slot you're using would act as a bottleneck.
