Hi

I have a MacBook Pro with a Seagate external hard drive. I've been using the drive without any problem for a while now - in fact I was only using it last week to back up some photos - but when I connected everything up today I got the following message...'The disc you inserted was not readable by this computer' and with options to Initialize, Ignore or Reject. I've tried all three and nothing happens with any of them. There doesn't seem to be a lot else I can do hence why I've come on here.

Any advice you can give would be gratefully received!!

You could open disk utility and check the disk, then maybe repair it.

Hope this helps

PS this is a nice place to be, just to have fun too, not just for troubleshooting... stick around;D
