Quick time x problems

Hi guys, I'm new to all of this sort of stuff so please help me, Firstly I have Snow Leopard and i only seem to have quick time player on my mac how do i get quick time x? also have some quick time videos on my Mac and i cant seem to get them into imovie so i can edit them, can anyone help me?

Mini (2014, 2018, 2020), MBA (2020), iPad Pro (2018), iPhone 13 Pro Max, Watch (S6)
QuickTime X is installed by default and QT7 is only installed as an optional install. In other words, QTX is there and QT7 would have only been installed if you requested it. See here for instance. Are you sure QTX isn't inside of your /Applications folder?

Yeah i cant find QTX anywhere on my mac but i'm going to do what you said and ill get back to you, thanks
