Mac Mail Problems

I am having trouble with my Mail feature of my mac. I have had my mac for over a year and have never had a problem receiving messages. Sending them, however, is another story. When I compose a message, send is simply not "click-able." This is super inconvenient! Help!

Weird. Have you selected an outgoing mail server for the message?

27 iMac+Thunderbolt, iMac 21,
Has to be an account set up issue, log on and check ISP settings for SMTP address and make sure that they are correct in the account prefs
