10.6 Font problems

20" iMac
My fonts have been very screwed up since installing snow leopard. While the problem is better since I turned off duplicates - now I'm seeing all system messages as this:

Any help guys? It's driving me crazy!

Weird.... try pressing "Enter", that should select "OK".

well yeah - i know that the button on the very right is allow or yes or whatever - but i'd like to know a way to fix the font issue...?

how many fonts have you got installed.

Try turning off unnecessary fonts, it looks like a font clash with the system font
