.rar files downloaded on a PC

I'm due to pick up my new imac tomorrow...i have a load of .rar files that were downloaded on a PC, but not unzipped yet.

My question is will these files unzip/unstuff etc OK on a MAC even thought they were downloaded on a PC?

They should, yes. You may need to get a 3rd party app to open them though.

Thanks Baggss..i thought that might be the case any recommendations as to what app might be the best
