iPhoto problem

I love using iPhoto but recently ive been having so many problems with it.
My pics do show up in my iphoto library but when i click on the image, it doesnt come up?

I dont understand why it doing this and how to i fix?

try to go to iPhoto>preferences and check the "on double click>open in edit view.
