hello people,

I am new to osx and must say its a windows beater....hands down.

anyway i am looking for a good website ripper. The reason for this is that i only have a limited amount of time on the internet and find that its easier to save the site rather than browse it with the limited time i have.

Anyway thanks for the help in advance

Wouldn't it be easier to just open the Print dialog and save the web page as a PDF?

If you want to feel the power of *nix, try wget. Try pretend to be a Google bot and download the website of your choice.

wget --user-agent="Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)" -r <site address>

Eg.
Code:
wget --user-agent="Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)" -r http://www.sitename.com

wget is one of the many tools available on *nix based OS to do this kind of jobs. :)

This program seems only for windows and not for osx.

Oops! Sorry, it said Mac in the description on the search page. That's why I provided the search terms so you could look at other possibilities.
