Help needed! cannot remove delete pages shortcut icon springboard

anyone know how to remove page shortcut icon? I wanted to remove page0,1,2,3,5,6. I tried pressed the icon but did not come out the X button. PLEASE HELP. appreciate it.

If u hold any icon until they all wriggle, then an X should appear on each icon that allows you to press it to delete

that doesn't work. It happened to me. If you have Cydia go to Manage, Packages, and one called springjump I think it is called is the cause of all those shortcuts. If u delete through cydia, problemo solved!!
