Mail does not work

Hello,

I get this error message whenever I click on mail. Mail has always worked before. My OS is updated to. 10.5.8. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

You cannot use this version of the application Mail with this version of Mac OS X.

15" MBP '06 2.33 C2D 4GB 10.7; 13" MBA '14 1.8 i7 8GB 10.11; 21" iMac '13 2.9 i5 8GB 10.11; 6S
1. check Software Update - see if there's anything new there

2. if you installed 10.5.8 through software update - I'd download the combo update and install that

let us know if that does it or not
