I have a HP deskjet f300 but cannot seem to find the print in black and white option anywhere.
I have the appropriate driver installed but alas there is nothing.

Is there some way around this?

cheers

play around with Shift+Command(better known as the Apple key)+4
try hitting the space bar while the camera is on screen also

Shift+Command+3 for full screen capture

And then download Skitch - great little app.

Nope :( Still no option.
Guess it just can't be done with this printer.

neat screen capture; another *impt* post-it residing on monitor for a while. lol

adz - on your screen print of your previous post, it does show the up/down arrow next to preview. when you click on it, you don't get a drop down menu?

Instead of postits or stickies all over the place, you might want to try a little app called Sidenote. Think you'll like it and best of all it stays hidden off screen when you're not using it.

For your printing issue, you need to just start opening everything in the print options. Being able to print in black only or greyscale is one of the most basic functions. I'd be very surprised if it's not there somewhere.
