Hi! I'm new to Macs (well, returning after a 20 year absence) and bought some memory from RAMjet to install in my machine.

My plan is to put it in myself this evening, but I noticed something in the booklet that came with the Mac Pro that if I do this it may void my warranty. It could be that I'm reading this wrong. Should I get an Apple tech to do this? I've alway just installed RAM in my old PCs....

THanks in advance, and sorry for such a basic question.

Cheers!

Your Mac's Specs

Adding RAM does not void warranty - apple allow this just make sure you and the Mac are grounded to avoid static electricity issues
