Hello I have a MacBook running 10.5.8.
PC operates through a Belkin Pre N wireless router and the Printer is a Kodak 5500 AiO.
The The printer is on the PC.

I am trying to share a printer with Vista. I can see the Mac from the PC but cannot see the PC from the mac nor access the printer. I have enabled sharing on both and read every article this side of China but nothing works.

On the Mac:
I have tried to use the URL:// nothing
tried windows Nothing.
tried smb://username:password@workgroup/computer/printer. Nothing.
Wish the printer would show up when I select windows from the Print & Fax but still noting. Sure hope someone has a fix for this.

It's probably your firewall on the Vista machine. Make sure it's configured to allow file and print sharing to pass through.

Yes it was Kaspersky. It took over the Vista Firewall and blocked the connection.
