Last week I purchased a 15" macbook pro and an iMac 20" for college. I am using the iMac for the rest of this semester while Im home and then the mbp will be going away to college with me in January, so its just staying in my closet for four months. Is there anything special I need to do for it? Does it hurt it being off for that amount of time? It already has the three year applecare until 2012...
Thanks

Hey, send it on over and I will keep it fresh for you! :D

Anyway, there is a thread somewhere on here that discusses this topic, but if memory serves me you should really pull it out once a month or so and use the battery and perform a full cycle.
