Magnifique and upgrading to Snow Leopard

If have used magnifique (2.1) but uninstalled the theme, and upgrade to snow leopard, will it stuff my computer up?

The top headline on Magnifique's home page and posted on Aug 10, well in advance of SL.
WARNING: DO NOT use Magnifique on OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. It's almost certain that it will mess up your system beyond repair.

We are planning a complete rewrite of Magnifique once Snow Leopard is released. Thanks for everyone's support

I would believe them and uninstall the app prior to any upgrade to SL.
