Whats wrong with my screen

I don't know what is going on with my screen on my Pro, at start up the screen is normal color, and then as soon as the taskbar loads up, everything gets darker, as you can see in the pictures. I have tried everything, what is going on with it?

Also, whenever I plug my laptop up to my Samsung external monitor, and then unplug it, the screen is fine, the darkness goes away. It's weird and I have no clue what is going on, anyone have any ideas?

The only thing I see is a crappy Microsoft wallpaper on a Mac.
