I need to burn a data DVD for a friend with an eMac. I'll be burning this on a Windows XP box. Do I need to be careful about the choice of media (DVD-R, +RW, etc.)? Anything else special I should keep in mind?

Thanks,
Lee

Use a DVD+R disk for compatibility. Do not use DVD+RW. And do not format the disk first or burn the data as multi-session because neither is supported on the Mac. Make sure you close the session. Set your PC burning software to use the Joliet system for the burn. (should already be set by default)

Regards.
