Best programe for downloading music, software ext

currently i use kazaa, limewire and mirc to download both music and programes, and thanks to them i also have all of the spywear to go with it.

my question is what can i use on a mac to do my downloads and will it give me spywear in retrn?

Never knew LimeWire had spyware..KaZaA sucks..get rid of that now..
