Hi...
We have a HP 1200 on a HP Jetdirect 500x printserver. Leopard had no problem printing to it using the "HP Jetdirect - Socket" Protocol.
Snow Leopard, though, is asking for a name and password. It sees the printer just fine and knows the correct driver. It's just this silly user name and password prompt I can't get passed. It's not a OS X admin or OS X user.
The prompt says "Enter your name and password for printer 'localhost'."
Any suggestions?
Edit: PS...selecting "Guest" on the prompt doesn't help. I get a "client-error-not-authorized" error.
