Try this

It seems like your system cannot find the OSX boot folder. Try holding down the Option Key (The Alt Key) while restarting and see what options are available. Usually, its Mac Osx on Macintosh HD so if you see that there, click it. If you are able to log in, go to System Preferences, Startup disc and choose Mac OSX on Mactintosh HD to avoid future problems. If not, you can try to to boot up from an external drive with OSX (Hold Alt while powering and select it) if you have a backup or even from the OSX dvd (Hold c while powering on).

Im not too sure about this part but if the above doesnt work, i believe you can boot up from the OSX dvd and run disc utility and try repairing permissions on your hd.
