mactalkforum.com WHOIS domain registration information from Network Solutions

My guess is its some kind of scam. They're hoping that having just a few Mac related topics about popular subjects will boost their pagerank and possibly drive searchers into their ads. If the domain was owned by an individual rather than a company, I'd suspect it's just laziness or a poorly configured forum.

That makes sense. It just seems a bit weird to copy all of iNet's forums.

It's also laziness, some of their forums are just a vanilla vB install with the default logo, skin, and board layout ("Main Category" and "Main Forum").
