Clean Install but how do I save Contacts?

edit: nvm I found out.....file>export>address book archive


I want to do a clean wipe on my MacBook Pro and install Snow Leopard completely fresh not just the upgrade....so I saved all my docs, music, pics, videos etc but how do I save my contacts off of my address book app onto an external hard drive in order to put them back in my newly installed snow leopard machine after the install??

I would have just cloned my drive, so you can then just run the migration wizard.
