Hi all,
I have VirtualBox 3.0.4 on OS 10.6, and I tried to install Windows 7. It worked great, but it can't seem to find any networks. My Windows XP, Ubuntu, and OpenSolaris VMs can all use and browse the internet, but Windows 7 (64-bit) can't. It worked in a trial of VMware Fusion that I just got rid of. I have tried playing around with network settings, and it still couldn't use the internet. What is the setting where the Virtual Machine uses my host interface as the network adapter?

Thanks in advance.

Click on your VM > Settings > Network. It's odd that it doesn't work - it worked for me when I used the 7 RC.

I have gone into the VM's settings, into the Network pane. How is your VM connected to your network?

Each of my 4 VMs (DragonFly BSD, Windows Server 2003, Debian Testing and Slackware 13) are all attached through NAT using the PCnet-FAST III adapter type except for DBSD which uses the Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop adapter. Are you using NAT?

I now have another VirtualBox problem - when I go into Seamless mode, it not only shows the Guest OS's windows, but also the desktop icons AND background. So it's not really "seamless". How do I hide the Guest's desktop in Seamless mode?
