I have a PowerBook G4 Titanium that won't boot at all. I figure I have a dead logic board, as that had been quirky for a while. How do I wipe the HD so I can sell the machine for parts? (Lots in very good or excellent condition). I've read on various sites that simply using a magnet on it will not work. Thanks for any advice.

The best way, in my opinion, is to purchase one of these:
Newegg.com - Link Depot USB2-SATA USB2.0 TO IDE/SATA Adapter Cable - Adapters & Gender Changers
And hook the drive up externally to another machine and wipe it.
You could also use a degauss-er if you have access to one.
