Yes I did not back up my partition like an idiot before diving into this. A while ago after updating the bootcamp drivers, several programs flipped out and refused to run.
Instead of searching for an answer to this, I idiotically went into the driver update program and uninstalled the whole thing. This stripped my Windows partition of all but the base bootcamp components. This went unnoticed for a long time before I found performance was degrading so when I tried to update again, the installer refused to run, presumably because it couldn't find the proper files to apply the update to.
I don't fancy deleting and re-installing the entire partition and am open to any suggestions. Can the bootcamp support programs be applied to the partition through the install disk?
