Problems with Tags App

I downloaded the Tags app and can't get it to close. When I tried to put in a tag the window that comes up will not allow me to Apply it or to close it.

Anyone have any suggestions? I tried to drag the program to Trash and start over but can't even do that.

What is "Tags"? What does it do? Is it free?

As for the problem with not being able to quit Tags, you can Force Quit it (go to " > Force Quit..." and select "Tags"), if you haven't tried that already.

If that doesn't work, you can use the Terminal command "killall Tags" (without the quotes)
