Maybe my eyes aren't working or something but i can't find 'preferences' anywhere for QT 10.0 (51) on my newly installed Snow Leopard. There's no option for it under 'Edit' ... any ideas? Thanks.

Danny.

Best I can tell, there is no 'Preferences" option.

The lack of preferences was a sore spot in Engadget's review of SL. What do you need from QTX that isn't available regularly?

Specifically, under Leopard, when i wanted to listen to Foxnewsradio's live audio stream (they're crazy but amusing sometimes), i would go to foxnewsradio.com and click on 'Listen Live' and the stream would play with QT, now with Snow Leopard it wants to play with RealPlayer which seems to gag on it. Firefox's own settings have QT playing this but it still doesn't (actually i installed Silverlight last night and that does the trick now).

There is a setting but it's not easily accessible. Follow the steps here and you should be good to go.
