I am buying four 24 inch external screens for my macbook pro, if i buy a vga splitter, can i use all 4 screen separately?

When you say separately...do you mean doing something different or independently on each screen?

Second...I don't think that you can operate four 24" external display's at the same time with a MacBook Pro. I believe you only have one video out port, and this can only run one external monitor.

You would need something like a Mac Pro desktop computer with two dual output video cards or 4 single output video cards to run 4 monitors independently.

Hope this helps...and I hope you didn't already order the monitors assuming you could do this on a MacBook Pro!!!
