Macbook keyboard doesnt work

I bought a new white macbook keyboard off ebay. (My old macbook keyboard broke) and i installed it. I also had to buy a new hd so my mac has no OS. anyway when i turn on my macbook it goes to a blank white screen. and only my power button and mouse works.

Then i compared my new keyboard with my old broken one and i noticed some of the media keys were different.

How do i make my new keyboard work on my macbook>?

not sure it you can, apple could have changed the wiring but kept the adapter the same, processor on the keyboard too, check the part number on your old keyboard and google both.. am thinking you'll have to order another keyboard, kinda sucks how these company make you spend more money to repair their product, sometimes you have no choice but to buy a new system..

The seller on ebay said it was possible. She said you have to update the firmware for the keyboard. here is the link to the item
