Hello. New to MacForums. My issue is the following. I have a Verizon MiFi that I want to wirelessly connect to my old IBook 800Mz RAM 640Mb HD 40Mb with OS X 10.2.8 without Airport but was using Buffalo ethernet converter with Apple Extreme Base successfully previously with Hughes satellite. Was unable to get converter to connect to MiFi with or without base station. I purchased AftertheMAc USB wireless unit which seems to be functional but I am unable to get the USB unit to detect the MiFi card. I am thinking the OS may require upgrading before this will work (perhaps 10.3.9?). Any one have any experience with MiFi? Thanks.
