Mac OSX Snow Leopard

Hey guys, sorry i am a newbie, I was wondering if the new operating system (snow Leopard) requires my hard drive to be erased for it to be installed? thank you

is anyone 100% sure?...lol sorry i just need assurance.

Is anything (other than death) in this world really 100%!!!;D

But honestly...there is no requirement to erase your hard drive before doing an OS update.

You won't need to wipe everything. I personally am going to wipe the lot and start from scratch, as I'm one of these people who doesn't like upgrades. I only like to install clean. :)
