Hello,

I have had my Macbook for about a year now. The airport has always worked fine. Randomly yesterday it won't connect to a wireless connection when I am in a range where it has always worked. The Airport can locate the connection just fine. It just will not connect.

When I check diagnostics it is as follows:

Airport (green)
Airport Settings Failed (red)
Network Settings Failed (red)
ISP Failed (red)
Internet Failed (red)
Server Failed (red)

Usually when I go through the diagnostic I can solve the problem. But for some reason it just will not connect.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Justin

Usually whenever a connection suddenly goes "south" after it's been working for a long period of time, something has changed. It could be your airport settings, the router, or even your ISP. You need to check all three.

Start by reading through the "Wireless Networking FAQ sticky" posted at the beginning of this forum.

Regards.

I will defenitly look at that for advice thanks. It wouldn't be the router. It literally can't pick up a signal from any wireless internet connection.

What was the eventual solution/resolution to your problem? I am experiencing the same exact thing now. Thanks!
