Hi Guys,

I've got what seems to be some weird font issue that's making my machine almost inoperable. The fonts in most important places have turned into boxed "A"'s. So, my pull down menu's, desktop icon descriptions and right click functions have all turned to capital A's in boxes. I can't show you a screen dump because I can't recall how to drive Grab when I can't read the menus!!

Fonts inside apps are fine.

Just happened out of the blue - was not messing with settings, installing anything etc.

I have tried making a new user, using FontNuke to clear caches, resetting NVRAM/PVRAM all to no avail. Validating fonts in Font Book doesn't seem to indicate any issues, but constantly crashes so hard to be sure.

Any help appreciated.
