• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hopefully someone can tell me what in the world I did to lose this thing:

I created a movie in imovie and then shared it with idvd. I created a project, moved the movie there and then I couldn't get something to work so I closed it without saving it. So now...my original movie is nowhere to be found.

I still had it open in imovie and I tried resaving it, I tried burning it to disc directly in imovie and no luck...it had been moved and it told me to retrieve it. The problem is...it doesn't exist now. It's not saved under "movies" anymore. I did every search I could think of.

So...seriously? If I didn't save the idvd project and now my movie bit the dust too? I REALLY don't want to spend my entire evening doing it over.

Help oh brilliant mac peeps?
