- Your Mac's Specs
- 2.4 GHz - 2GB Ram - 250GB HDD
So I just bought a used Macbook online. I get in the mail today, everything seems great at first. I paid $470 for it but I am starting to worry that I got ripped off somehow.
Here are the specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo
2.4 GHz
2GB of Ram
HDD- 250 GB
Its the black model. The first strange thing I noticed is that it is running mac OS X 10.4.11. I did some digging around and it seems that the OS has been used in 2006? Is it discontinued? Are there any places where I can update my OS to the newest version?
Also, after 15 or so minutes or not touching the Mac, the mouse pointer disappears and the touchpad becomes unresponsive. The only way to get it back is to restart the notebook. Any fixes for this?
Thanks a lot for the help,
Tomas
