I used to be able to connect fine, but recently I have not been able to properly access the free internet service "The Cloud" on my iPod Touch. I thought that maybe it was because my friend borrowed my iPod and went on loads of dodgy websites in the middle of my local pub that runs "The Cloud" network, but I am not sure. You have to sign up for "The Cloud" to use it, so it is possible that I have been blocked.

Anyone else had any similar experiences or have any suggestions?

They may have blocked you I guess, although I thought it would have made more sense for them to block access to any website they consider dodgy.

I've used the cloud at McDonalds and I have to put in my name, email address and postcode on log on. I've noticed that, if I don't clean the browser after use, the next time I find myself in McDonalds (something that is becoming worryingly frequent) it logs itself in.

Try changing the details you enter on login, if you have to enter details, or try cleaning out your browser - cookies, history, temporary files, empty crisp packets, etc.

The problem is that it doesn't even let me log in. I can't access the cloud's login or anything. I also have to log in and I think that they may have blocked my account and my iPod is trying to automatically log in, so I am just blocked straight away.

My iPod probably does need restoring to factory, but I have good high scores that I don't want to lose. I just completed "Blocked" again, and I don't think I can be bothered to do it any more times! My iPod has been lagging recently...

If you go into Settings, and look under Safari, there are 3 buttons for:

Clear History
Clear Cookies
Clear Cache

Try pressing those 3 first before going for a total reset. Your highscores may yet be safe!

There weren't even "dodgy" sites really. There was nothing illegal like violence, crime, hacking, viruses or drugs. He just got up loads of weird, fetish porn. Completely legal stuff... Just disgustingly weird!
